Staring
When I'm bored on the train I like to analyze people. By analyzing I mean to try to figure things out about people just by looking at them. This means I have to stare at them for a long time. I have met quite a few people that way. I have been told by many people that a person could feel you looking if you stared at them too long. That is crap. What happens is you look around and see someone staring. Normal human beings cannot sense things. We do not have ESP and things like that.

I actually hate to look and see someone staring at me. I myself stared at people though hmmmmm....If someone is sleepin on themself and about to fall over or have on a t-shirt in the winter, I do stare at them for a few moments and laugh in my head. There are so many characters in the world and the majority seem to live in New York City
Ohohoho....I do that, too. I usually just stare at their outfits and wonder if they banged their head on the wall 'cause sometimes you see someone with downright outrageous outfit. Oh yeah, what you said about people not being able to sense if somebody's looking at them, I say that's not true. Some people are actually able to feel it if they're being stared at.
Wrong! I am a normal human being, and I have actually sense things and told people what they are thinking at times. I swear I am not lying that have happened to me before. Don't ask me in class what you are thinking cause it's not something I can turn on and off. It only happens occasionally.
I totally agree with she she and malmsteenrulez about looking at peoples' outfits and thinking stuff and laughing, I do that sometimes.
When I'm on the train I find myself staring at people sometimes but I know that its rude so I try not to. So I would play games on my phone or read a book while I'm on the train and sometimes I would look up then go back to what I was doing.
About humans not being able to sense things I disagree with you because humans are animals and animals have instinct they are able to sense danger and run away. And what about women's intuition, a woman can sense when her man is cheating on her. It all depends on how you look at it.
I dont like to look at people because it causes problems. Who you looking at is one of the phrase come with the drama that starts from looking at people. Plus people always looking at me for whatever reason i dont know why.
Well, when I'm on the train the only things I try to stare at are advertisements. I don't really like to stare at people because I know how annoying it is to see someone staring at you.
About human beings' inability to sense when someone's staring at them, I think the opposite. Because we're humans, we have the capacity to sense almost everything.
I mean come on. i am sure you had a few times where u felt someone staring at you. But i guess thats your Opinion. My thing is not even about the staring part but YOU CANNOT FIGURE OUT SOMEONE FROM JUST STARING AT THEM. This is something i learned over the years. A simple example would be Chris in the CT lab. EVERYONE taught he was spanish until they spoke to him. And when u stare someone most lightly you will not talk to them.
