dreaming about psychics

Is it possible to predict the future? Many people have claimed to do so. Edgar Cayce and Ms. Clio are two interesting examples of "psychics." I am not an expert on supernatural phenomenon. For that go to Dinar. I, being a Christian, obviously don't believe in that. However there have been instances I know of where something close to this has occurred. I had a grandfather who prayed alot, and apparently he was given signs of up coming events. When his eye jumped constantly, someone would die. It happened many times and each time it happened within a day. However although consistent it was proved during his dreams. If dreamed about a wedding, someone would die soon. If he dreamed about water, then someone would get sick. Many of the people I met have had friends or relatives with the same situation. The question is however, is this real or just coincidence.

Well, since I have a fascination with the supernatural....naturally I believe in dreams being able to convey message about the future. Not all dreams are like that of course. I'm Indonesian and I'm Javanese (which is one of the many ethnicities in Indonesia). Us Javanese believe that dreams do convey message about the future. For example:
-If you dream of yourself taking a shower, it means that you might get sick.
-If you dream that someone's dying, it means that that person is going to have a long life (weird, I know).
-If you dream that you get bitten by a snake, it means that someone you know is going to betray you so watch your back.

I actually had a dream like that and sadly it came true. When I was in fifth grade, I had a dream that I was a vagabond looking for someplace to stay the night. So I knocked on the door of a modest looking house. When someone opened the door, it was my mom's uncle who in real live was very close to us. In the dream, he welcomed me with open arms. Offered me dinner and hot shower and a nice, cozy bed. Then I opened the window because I wanted some fresh air. When I opened the window, there was this female ghost with long, black hair and white dress standing right in front of the window. I screamed and he came to check on me. I told him about what happened and when he looked out the window, there was nothing there. And that's all I remember about the dream. Early in the morning, we got a phone call from his family telling us that he had passed away a few hours earlier. Was that him saying goodbye to me through a dream? Or me somehow looking into the future? I'm still not sure until now.

Older people have all sorts of superstitions about dreams and what it means like my mother who grew up in the Caribbean, any child who has a Caribbean parent have heard the them telling stories of them having a premonition in their dream. Like dreaming about fish means that someone is pregnant.

I know people who when their left eye jumps it means someome is going to die also, it has happened many times and I don't believe it is coincidence. I also believe in dreams because I have dreamed about things that happen exactly the same way days after or weeks after. I have heard the saying that when you dream of a new born baby it means death or new beginnings, and when you dream about someone naked it means disgrace. Dreams do have meaning and are real.

Some people do seem to have a connection to the spiritual world. I have an uncle who got caught up with some stuff an said that he could read people hands. Lost his business cause of some other situation.. He met a man once an they were in a bar drinkin fire...lol....Sometimes it could be a good thing sometimes bad...

I think its a coincidence. We're expose to everything and everyone all the time that eventually something is bound to create a supernatural moment. Like an association that eventually triggers every time that someones is i.e. sick or dying or something. Maybe there's a some science/psychology to it. Or maybe not...
